Free Trade Agreement

 After a long time, finally achieved the free trade agreement with United States, is expected to be treated if you bring good things for our country, because it is expected that Colombian exports to that country increased by six per cent in exports compared to 2011.

One of the objectives of this treaty, says President Juan Manuel Santos, is to generate more than 300,000 new jobs.

It is estimated that most benefited sectors in Colombia, would be the timber, construction, auto parts, fertilizers and agrochemicals, and technology, but on the other hand the agricultural sector and the poultry show their concern over this treaty.

In my opinion I think the free trade agreement between Colombia and the United States, which are going for makeup saying that will benefit both countries equally, for me is a farce because the United States is hundreds of times more than Colombia, so this led to small Colombian companies will see little that can compete with these large U.S. companies, which ended with tear down the goal of which tells President Santos, as some companies Colombian finished near bankruptcy and reduce jobs in large numbers.

And that can happen to have so much unemployment?

increase poverty on a large scale, and many of these unemployed will join illegal armed groups, thereby also increasing violence.

Is this is the treaty that generated lots of jobs, which both countries will benefit equally?
